Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel cleaning, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and communal areas according to health and safety standards
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used correctly and stored safely after use
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
Follow designated cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management
Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing or window washing if required
Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Skills

Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is desirable
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good attention to detail ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Customer service skills are a plus for roles involving interaction with clients or visitors
