Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling, barbering, and customer service, with a flair for mentoring junior staff and delivering exceptional client experiences. This role offers the opportunity to utilise a diverse skill set, including eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling techniques, within a professional and welcoming environment. The Senior Hair Stylist will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service, managing store operations, and fostering client loyalty.

Responsibilities

Provide expert hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and specialised treatments tailored to client needs.
Manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Mentor and support junior stylists and apprentices to develop their skills and confidence.
Upsell products and services effectively to maximise revenue while ensuring clients receive personalised recommendations.
Assist with store management duties such as stock control, cleanliness standards, and maintaining an organised workspace.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service delivery.
Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative styling options.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a comprehensive portfolio of work demonstrating versatility in styling techniques and at least 6 years experience.
Certification or qualification in hairdressing or barbering recognised within the industry.
Experience in store management or supervisory roles is highly desirable.
Proficiency in customer service with excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively.
Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and foster a collaborative working environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently.
