Job Introduction

Deputy Children’s Home Manager – Full-Time

Hours: 40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

Salary: £17.61 per hour - £70.50 sleep-in rate

About the Role

As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to support the day-to-day running of the home. You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring the best possible care for young people.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting and supervising staff teams
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards
Promoting a safe, structured, and child-focused environment
Contributing to care planning and development of young people
Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
At least 1 year of experience supervising staff
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
Level 3 in Residential Childcare (required)
Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
