Full job description

Job Overview
We are an Electrical Contractors with 25 veichles and fast growing, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet and equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections & sevicing of vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical issues through visual assessment and the use of diagnostic tools
Repair and replace faulty components.
Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and other specialised machinery to complete repairs
Assemble or disassemble parts as required for repair or replacement purposes
Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.

Experience

Experience as a Auto Mechanic or similar role within an automotive repair environment
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical principles
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic instruments
Experience with assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and equipment repair tasks
Prior experience working with various types of vehicles is advantageous
