Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced SIA licensed Security Officers to provide professional temporary security services across various sites. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, monitoring premises, and ensuring the security of personnel and property. This role requires a high level of vigilance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to any incidents. Candidates must hold a valid SIA licence and have prior experience in security operations.

Duties

Regular internal and external patrols
Monitoring site security and preventing unauthorised access
Locking and unlocking buildings where required
Maintaining accurate logs
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing appropriate action and reporting as necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, observations for record-keeping purposes.
Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel on site.
Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services in the event of serious incidents or emergencies.
Enforce site policies and procedures to uphold safety standards at all times.

Requirements

Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor Licence
Previous experience in static guarding or property security
Excellent communication skills
Professional appearance and attitude
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Right to work in the UK
Able to provide an invoice for work completed Desirable
Experience securing vacant buildings
Flexible temporary assignments
Support from an experienced management team
Opportunity to join our approved contractor database for future assignments
Valid SIA licence
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in reporting and record keeping.
First aid certification is highly desirable but not mandatory
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including nights and weekends if needed.

Pay: £16.00-£17.50 per hour
