Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and extensive experience in food production and kitchen management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service are maintained at all times. The Executive Chef will be responsible for developing innovative menus, supervising staff, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, including sous chefs, chefs de partie, and kitchen assistants
Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality meet brand standards
Develop and implement creative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
Supervise food production processes to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across the kitchen
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximise profitability
Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive working environment
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitor staff performance and conduct regular appraisals to foster professional development

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary environment
Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities
In-depth understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on high-quality service
Ability to develop innovative menus that appeal to diverse clientele
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with staff and suppliers
Passionate about culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and presentation

Pay: £40,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
