Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests. The Chef de Partie will also support the kitchen team in maintaining efficient operations and upholding our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauté stations
Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene regulations
Assist in meal preparation during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your designated section at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or issues promptly
Support training of junior kitchen staff and trainees as required

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are advantageous but not essential
