Role Title: Plant & Labour Administrator - Sizewell C

Location: Framlingham, Woodbridge, IP13 9EZ

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time

About the Role:

The Plant & Labour Administrator is a newly created position supporting Blackwell Earthmoving’s Sizewell C project team. This role provides essential day-to-day administrative support, helping managers and the wider team with office coordination, personnel management, and project administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the Company’s mission and upholding our values of being Responsible, Respectful, Relentless, and Resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Office Support

Manage correspondence including emails, memos, and routine reports.
Maintain organised filing systems on SharePoint and other platforms.
Coordinate travel arrangements and general office logistics.
Create and format documents as required.
Greet visitors and offer general administrative support to the team.
Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Handle queries from senior managers and complete data entry tasks.
Ensure accurate storage of key documentation and support colleagues when needed.

Personnel & Compliance Coordination

Manage site personnel vetting processes.
Review candidates, arrange interviews, record competencies, and assess compliance with BEL standards.
Issue contracts of employment and new starter documentation.
Liaise with agencies to ensure labour provision meets site requirements.
Arrange PPE and medicals for new applicants.
Coordinate induction programmes for new starters.
Maintain records in accordance with company standards.
Assist in preparing regularly scheduled reports.
Liaise with site teams and management to address queries or issues.
Provide support to other team members as required.
Undertake other tasks as requested by the line manager.

Proven administrative experience, either in an office or virtual support role.
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent time‑management with the ability to prioritise effectively.
High attention to detail and confident problem‑solving ability.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Enthusiastic team player with a positive approach.
Efficient and organised, able to work proactively.
Flexible and self-motivated, adapting to changing needs.
Confident communicator who engages well with colleagues and stakeholders.
