We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse (Bank) to join our Primary Care team at HMP Wealstun, a category C Prison located in near Wetherby, Yorkshire.

HMP Wealstun is a male prison that focuses on training and education. The pharmacy has it's own dispensary and consists of a full team of around 15 staff both permanent and bank.

Salary

£23.83 per hour

Hours- 0 hour contract

Monday-Sunday

07:00-19:30pm

No nights

What you'll be doing

As a Primary Care Nurse your responsibilities will vary. You will

Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions
Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary teams
Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference
Inspire excellence by forging strong links with our partners and stakeholders
Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning.
Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi-disciplinary teams.

Registered nurse – Adult - NMC
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
