Full job description

The Role

We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and commercially minded person to join our team as a Sales Administrator / Commercial Support.

This is a varied role supporting our Sales, Commercial, Purchasing and E-commerce teams, with responsibilities including sales reporting, business reviews, CRM, e-commerce and purchasing administration.

It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, figures and systems and wants to develop their wider commercial experience.

The role includes:

Providing administration and commercial support to the Sales and Commercial teams.
Compiling monthly sales figures and preparing sales reports and management information.
Supporting the Sales team with customer and business reviews.
Maintaining and updating CRM and sales databases.
Processing new customer accounts and maintaining customer information.
Supporting pricing, sales analysis and other commercial activities.
Sourcing product information and images and maintaining accurate content on our webstore.
Supporting e-commerce activity including product positioning, promotions and banner placement.
Raising supplier purchase orders and checking supplier acknowledgements.
Maintaining accurate purchasing information within our back-office system.
Supporting the Purchasing and Commercial teams with administration as required.
Assisting with commercial projects, tenders and company events when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident working with figures, spreadsheets and computer systems.
A good communicator with a friendly and professional approach.
Able to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
Proactive and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Interested in sales and the commercial side of a business.

Previous experience in sales administration, purchasing, e-commerce or a similar environment would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, would be advantageous.

HOURS: Full Time, 35 hours, Monday – Friday

SALARY: £24,135.00 per annum.
