Full job description

The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, organised Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Market Harborough on a part time basis. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers - handling queries, sorting issues, and making sure every interaction leaves a positive impression.

This is an in-person role working mornings 20hrs per week, Monday to Friday, and you’ll work closely with our warehouse team to keep orders running smoothly. If you’re a natural problem-solver who takes pride in great customer care, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service - answering all customer queries via email and always ensuring a positive experience
Coordinate directly with the warehouse team to arrange customer replacements and changes to orders
Log all order errors and customer complaints accurately and in a timely manner
Forward emails to the relevant teams when queries fall outside of customer service
Carrier reports and claims - react promptly to carrier reports, investigate delivery issues, and process claims for lost or damaged items
Warehouse collaboration - work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth order fulfilment and resolve any shipping-related concerns
Manage various platforms including Shopify and Ship Theory
Complaint resolution - address and resolve customer complaints effectively, ensuring a positive outcome for the customer while maintaining company standards
Ad hoc duties including assisting the warehouse team with stock replenishment and pick packing when required

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in an e-commerce or retail environment
Excellent written communication skills - you’ll be handling all customer contact via email
Calm, solution-focused approach to complaints and difficult situations
Strong attention to detail when logging errors, claims, and complaints
Comfortable working across multiple platforms and systems - experience with Shopify or shipping software is a bonus
A team player who’s happy to muck in with warehouse tasks when needed
Reliable and able to work independently during morning hours

Hours & Location

Part time - 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday mornings
Based in person at our Market Harborough HQ
