Duties & Responsibilities – Litho Printer

Produce high quality print to the timescales required for efficient working
Keep the machine in good working order
Produce printed sheets to the job specification supplied
Ensure the quality of every job, including attaining ISO 12647 standards
Following the quality standards as described in our ISO 9001 procedures for Printing (QSP 08)
Completed all paperwork associated with the job and the quality procedure
Ensure a high level of Health and Safety is maintained on the machine at all times
Complete any routine cleaning and maintenance of the press (maintenance is supported by our internal team)
Complete all hours as detailed in the shift pattern supplied and to provide holiday cover for other team members
All work carried out and any waste created must be moved or disposed in adherence with our environmental standard ISO 14001

Job Specific Skills – Litho Printer

Essential:

Significant, recent experience of running a 5/6 colour press
Excellent colour knowledge and be able to identify poor print
Experience of using colour management software and printing to ISO 12647 standards

Preferred:

Experience of running a Heidelberg press would be beneficial
Experience of working within ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 practices

General Skills:

Excellent time keeping
Ability to be flexible and understanding (of the print industry demands)
Exceptional attention to detail
Calm, approachable and professional manner

Job Details – Litho Printer

Hours & Shifts: Full time, permanent role, 3 week rotation working 3 x 12 hours days for 2 weeks followed by 4 x 12 hours nights for 1 week
