About the Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, working closely with our finance team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting processes. You'll gain hands-on experience in core finance functions whilst contributing to the smooth running of a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
Processing invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments
Reconciling bank transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting month-end reporting and reconciliations
Assisting senior finance team members with ad-hoc projects and analysis
Maintaining organised filing systems and ensuring compliance with internal processes
General finance and administrative support as required

No prior finance experience required, but a basic understanding or interest in accounting is beneficial

Working Details

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne (fully on-site – no remote working)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent position
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
