Residential Support Worker – Assessment Day

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Join us for an Assessment Day at Seashell Trust to start your rewarding career as a Residential Support Worker.

Event Details

Date: Friday 17th July 2026
Location: Seashell Trust, Cheadle Hulme

About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children and young adults can thrive, develop independence, and enjoy engaging daily experiences.

What to Expect on the Day:

A tour of our amazing facilities
Written exercises
Group activities
Opportunity to meet our dedicated care professionals

Candidates who are successful on the day will be invited to attend formal interviews taking place on the week commencing Monday 27th July .

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine passion for supporting others
Ability to work full time, 37.5 hours per week, including weekend work
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Resilience and a positive attitude
Willingness to complete level 4 qualification

Your place on the Assessment Day is not confirmed until you have received an email confirmation with full details, including your arrival time
We are looking for candidates who can commit to full time hours, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
