As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Inspection and Retrofit team with a Senior Inspection Engineer at our Glasgow or Stirling location.

Our team leads the delivery of a suite of market leading inspection and retrofit services aimed at operational and construction projects across the renewables industry, and works with a diverse and growing client base internationally. We inspect a wide range of technologies, including onshore and offshore windfarms, solar plants and battery energy storage systems. and conduct wind turbine retrofit and upgrade campaigns.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Lead a team as a WTSR approved Authorised Technician or Limited Authorised Technician on inspection and retrofit projects.
Draft and review project related risk assessments and method statements
Provide on-site support and training to develop technical competency within the team.
Thorough inspection of drive-train main components using borescope.
Lubrication sampling
Technical inspections on all electro-mechanical systems within wind turbine generators
Solar plant and BESS inspections
Interpreting and classification of defects to relevant IEC standards, communicating findings from inspections verbally, in written reports and through an iOS / Android application.
Preparation of detailed inspection reports for clients and internal use in a timely manner.
Ensuring that Natural Power and client H&S policies are adhered to at all times, both personally and for other team members. Reporting of HSEQ matters reported in a timely manner as per procedure.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
