Full job description

the Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to safeguard our premises, staff, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, and ensuring a safe environment . This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential.

Duties

Conduct regular physical patrols to identify any suspicious activity or security breaches during the shift at least 5-7 foot patrol.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of visitors and staff to prevent unauthorised entry.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including administering first aid if necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.
Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any faults or issues promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in surveillance, security roles is preferred.
radio use/good communication skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure work as a team on site.
Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to complete detailed reports accurately.
Physical fitness to perform patrols and stand for extended periods.
able to work 12 hours shift pattern 3-4 shift day or night flexible.
