The role

Manager - Sales & Service Team

Role location – Godalming, Surrey
Salary £40-45,000 dependent on experience
Office based
37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, an hour for lunch

About the role

You will manage two front line general insurance teams – the Customer Service Advisor Team and the SME & High Net Worth (HNW) Team – totalling around 10 people. They are based across two locations in Godalming and Oxted. Your key focus is new sales, servicing existing clients and operational efficiency. As a regulated business, maintaining risk and compliance standards is critical.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering your team’s sales plan
Maintaining operational standards
Developing your team
Maintaining a positive culture
Maintaining working environment standards consistently within NFUM risk and compliance appetite
Contributing to the Senior Leadership Team.

About You

Motivated self-starter with a positive, team player and can-do attitude. It is essential you possess the confidence and sound judgement to take the necessary action without always referring to you line manager or the Managing Partner.

To apply for this role you should:

Live within easy reach of Godalming
Have at least 3 years of experience as a team manager
An insurance background preferable but not essential
A skilled communicator
A capable coach
Discretion and confidentiality
Have a valid driving license.

Whilst the role is based in Godalming, you will need to occasionally visit our Oxted Office.

Salary £40-45,000 dependent on experience
