Our manufacturing sites operate to the highest standards and are independently certified to the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, ensuring the vegetable oils that are delivered are of the highest quality.

Summary

We are seeking a Hygiene Team Leader to join our team in Goole. This role is vital in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and safety across our manufacturing facilities. You will contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality products while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate hygiene activities within the manufacturing site.
Supervise hygiene team members to ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols.
Implement cleaning schedules and monitor their effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and organic manufacturing regulations.
Train staff on hygiene procedures and best practices.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product integrity.
Maintain hygiene equipment and tools, including hand tools and power tools.
Document hygiene activities and report on performance metrics.
Securing the site each day.
Chemical Management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a hygiene or sanitation leadership role within manufacturing or industrial settings.
Knowledge of food safety standards such as BRC or similar certifications.
Ability to manage a team effectively.
Familiarity with hygiene tools including hand tools and power tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to train staff on hygiene practices.
Preferred: experience with organic manufacturing standards.
