Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Administration Assistant to join our team for maternity cover from 28.07.26- 28.05.27 . The role is part time, 20 hours per week. (9.45am-2.45pm, Mon-Thurs). This role involves providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, proficiency in various computer applications, and excellent communication abilities. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills within a professional setting.

Duties

Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Sage, Microsoft Office and Teams
Sage duties including invoicing and quotations
Coordinate office supplies procurement and inventory management
Provide general clerical support including photocopying and scanning
Arranging staff travel and hotels
Stock control

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams
Experience with Sage accounting software is essential
Excellent data entry accuracy
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
Demonstrate organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Previous administrative or clerical experience is preferred

The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and capable of managing diverse responsibilities with professionalism. Minimum relevant age range wage applies

Pay: £12.71 per hour
