Full job description

About the Role:

Solar Tackle is a growing business within the carp fishing industry, and we are looking for a proactive and reliable Customer Service Team Leader to join our operations team in Dartford.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will play a key role in customer communication, order coordination, dispatch support, and wider office operations.

We are looking for someone who is organized, positive, hardworking, and comfortable taking ownership of problems and seeing tasks through to completion. This role is primarily office-based and requires close day-to-day collaboration with warehouse, sales, and marketing teams.hoc administrative tasks across the business, occasionally assisting with finance or other departments as needed..

Key Responsibilities:

· Managing customer enquiries via phone and email;

· Coordinating sales orders, dispatches, and delivery updates;

· Supporting the day-to-day running of customer service operations;

· Working closely with warehouse and sales teams to resolve issues efficiently;

· Monitoring order progress and communicating updates proactively;

· Maintaining accurate records and system updates;

· Supporting reporting, administration, and operational organization;

· Assisting with process improvements and wider office coordination.

· Supporting with other ad hoc duties and operational tasks as requested by line manager.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in customer service, sales support, order processing, or operational administration preferred;

· Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers and internal teams;

· Numerically minded, with good attention to detail and confidence handling operational data;

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook;

· Experience using ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP would be advantageous;

· Proactive, dependable, and able to work efficiently under pressure;

· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, contribute, and grow within the business;

· Comfortable working full-time in an office environment;
