Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to inspire and nurture young children during their formative years in our brand new vibrant nursery setting. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes early childhood development. Your leadership and management skills will ensure that each child receives personalized attention, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives while working within a vibrant team committed to excellence in childcare and early education.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support early childhood development across various learning areas
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where children feel valued and confident to explore
Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support each child's individual needs
Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
Lead and manage a team of junior staff or assistants, providing guidance and mentorship to promote professional growth
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones in compliance with regulatory standards
Ensure the nursery or childcare setting adheres to health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures at all times

What we're looking for:

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
A positive nurturing attitude
A team player!
