PFS Group Limited is an established Fire & Security Company based in Southend, Essex. We continue to experience rapid growth in all areas of the business and are looking to expand our Service team. We are looking for a Scheduler to add to our team due to the growth experienced. The role will include full training so whilst experience is a benefit, no prior knowledge of the industry is required.
The Team
You will be working alongside other Service Schedulers, Service Supervisors and the Service Manager to review, plan and schedule our Planned Preventative Maintenance visits for our field based engineering team. The team is made up of a wide range of ages, interests and working techniques, making the department a well rounded and diverse team. Majority of the training will be provided by the Service Supervisor however, each member of the team have areas of expertise which will be used to enhance the training.
The Service team works closely with our Contracts team and Service Engineering team which consists of Estimators, Client Account Managers, the Commercial Manager, Engineers and an Engineering Manager. All contracts and routine maintenance agreements are processed by the Contracts team and focus on detail and a smooth transition from sale to service delivery is key.
Training
As well as on the job training, the successful candidate will also take part in various industry specific induction training CPD’s provided by our Operations Manager, including training on Company policies to ensure confidence in the role. The successful candidate will also be given the opportunity to visit some of our London based sites alongside our engineers to learn the importance of the business and our work.
Training outside of industry specific areas will also be provided. You will receive training on our CRM system, internal processes for streamline working and workload management. Any and all questions are welcome during and after the training period. There’s a lot to learn in the industry with evolving technology and techniques. Continual training will be provided throughout employment upon request or business needs.
The Role Breakdown
Below is a breakdown of the main duties and tasks that will form this role:
- Taking enquiries and queries from customers via email and phone
- Working with our engineers to resolve scenarios
- Monitoring our department inbox for enquiries or customer queries
- Updating our CRM system
- Scheduling engineer jobs via our CRM systems
- Reviewing job reports to ensure compliance and customer service
- Assisting the Contracts team and Client Account Managers
- Working to deadlines to ensure customers receive dates for attendances within specified timeframes
- Communicating with customers to work to a solution
