Expected Salary: £33,384 per year
£40 per sleep-in

Providing Care Ltd supports looked-after young people aged 16-18 within Ofsted-regulated supported accommodation. This young person-centred role focuses on building confidence, stability and independence. We are looking for compassionate, reliable Support Workers who want to make a real difference by forming positive relationships and helping young people move towards adulthood.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support within the young person’s accommodation. You will help them develop life skills, access opportunities and feel safe, supported and encouraged.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting education, training and employment goals
Helping young people develop independence skills such as budgeting, cooking and tenancy management
Accompanying young people to health and professional appointments
Delivering tailored key work sessions that promote growth and resilience
Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with regulatory requirements
Building positive, consistent and trusting relationships

This role involves a rota-based shift pattern including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins where required.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who are calm, patient and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting young people. Experience in supported accommodation, residential care, outreach or youth work is desirable - but values, attitude and commitment to safeguarding are just as important.

Strong communication and organisational skills
Professional and consistent approach
Ability to work flexibly in line with service needs
Full UK driving licence preferred
