We are seeking a skilled and experienced Private Household Asian Cuisine Chef to prepare authentic Asian dishes within a private residence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong culinary background, exceptional food safety knowledge, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to deliver personalised, high-quality cuisine in a sophisticated setting, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and taste. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating diverse Asian menus, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining a seamless culinary service tailored to the household’s preferences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook authentic Asian dishes according to family preferences and dietary requirements
Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and consistency in every meal
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, presentation, and safety standards
Manage food inventory, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
Develop customised menus for various occasions, including special events or daily meals
Ensure timely service of meals while maintaining attention to detail and presentation
Lead by example in fostering a professional and organised kitchen environment
Collaborate closely with household members to accommodate specific tastes and dietary restrictions

Skills

Proven experience in culinary arts specialising in Asian cuisine with a strong portfolio of authentic dishes
Supervising experience within a professional kitchen or hospitality environment
Excellent food preparation and cooking skills with an eye for detail and presentation
Strong team management abilities to lead kitchen staff effectively
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant or high-end hospitality experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Experience in food production, menu planning, and catering for private households or similar settings
Exceptional service orientation with the ability to adapt to household preferences and requirements
