Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled <PERSON> to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and have experience working within a professional kitchen environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your culinary skills further while contributing to the creation of high-quality dishes. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting, ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times, and supporting the overall operation of our food production team.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Handle food production tasks including butchery, food preparation, and plating
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage organisation
Contribute to maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen

Qualifications

Previous experience in food production, culinary roles, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety procedures and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Experience with butchery, food preparation, or specialised culinary techniques is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
A genuine passion for cooking and continuous learning within the culinary arts
Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Relevant qualifications or certifications in food safety are preferred but not essential
