Job Opportunity: Floor Layer Wanted!

About Us:
Stansbie Flooring Ltd is a well-established flooring specialist known for delivering high-quality installations across commercial and residential projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a growing reputation, we’re looking to expand our team with a skilled and reliable Floor Layer.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Floor Layer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for the preparation and installation of various flooring materials including:

Vinyl (including cap and cove)
Carpets/Carpet Tiles
LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile)
Laminate and hardwood
Safety flooring and rubber

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and cut flooring materials to fit accurately
Prepare subfloors by levelling, cleaning, and priming
Install flooring to a high standard of finish
Work independently or as part of a team on-site
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
Ensure all work meets health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a floor layer
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to read and interpret floor plans/drawings
Valid CSCS card (preferred)
Full UK driving licence (essential if driving company van)
Punctual, professional, and reliable
