Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Excavator Operator within our Remediation division.

Salary: Up to £32,000 (dependant on experience)

About the role

The Excavator Operator will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager (SM) in the on-site delivery of remediation and enabling works projects. The role will include operation of excavators.

Key responsibilities

The Machine Operator will work closely with the SM and CM on a daily basis, taking instruction and guidance as required to complete a variety of site based key tasks. There will include, but not be limited to:

Excavator operation (up to 50T machine)
Routine maintenance of plant equipment such as daily machine checks and providing completed forms to the site manager
Reporting servicing requirements, defects, or maintenance issues of plant equipment to the site manager
Expectation of working away from home to support project delivery

About you

CPCS/NPORS qualified
Industry standard qualified to work safely on site and with asbestos in soil (CAT B)
Dump Truck operation (up to 30T), Roller operation (up to 18T), Bulldozer operation (up to D7) would be ideal but not essential for this role.
CSCS card
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with external and internal contacts
Able to work in a dynamic team environment
Flexible approach to work and location
Able to take instruction and follow through with actions in a considered and accurate manner
Presents a professional image at all times
Full driving license
