Latimer Legal Solicitors is a well-established, family-run firm seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist to join our Ramsbottom team. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrator to join our dynamic team. This vital role combines front-desk responsibilities with administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess excellent communication skills to handle a variety of tasks efficiently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable office experience.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors warmly, direct them appropriately, and manage visitor sign-in procedures
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area to create a positive first impression
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries with accuracy
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, data entry, and filing systems
Assist with basic office supply inventory management and procurement
Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare necessary materials for meetings

Requirements

Prior office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and professionalism
Administrative experience is highly desirable to handle various clerical duties effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact confidently with visitors and team members
Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
