The Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Worker to join our growing team. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance works across residential and public sector properties on behalf of local authority clients.

This is a varied role requiring excellent trade skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general building maintenance and repairs.
Complete work across multiple trades including:
Carpentry
Plastering (patch repairs)
Tiling
Painting and decorating
Basic plumbing
Basic brickwork and groundworks
Diagnose defects and complete repairs efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Maintain excellent communication with tenants, residents, and client representatives.
Complete job documentation accurately using handheld devices where required.
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and well maintained.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in a multi-trade maintenance role.
Strong carpentry skills with competency across other trades.
Experience working in occupied domestic properties.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

Desirable

Experience working on local authority or social housing contracts.
CSCS Card.
Asbestos Awareness.
PASMA or IPAF certification.
First Aid qualification.
