Qualified Dental Nurse / Receptionist – Part-Time (Thursday & Friday)

Up to £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Wickham Dental Practice, in The Square, is seeking a friendly, professional and motivated Qualified Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our growing team on Thursdays and Fridays.

This role will primarily involve working alongside our hygienist, with opportunities to support our dentists and provide reception cover during annual leave and other periods of absence. This makes it an ideal opportunity for someone seeking flexibility and variety, with the potential to increase hours in the future. As such, we are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and enjoys being part of a team.

We are a modern, forward-thinking dental practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and positive working environment. We believe that looking after our team is just as important as looking after our patients, and we are proud of the culture we have created.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a recognised dental nursing qualification and current GDC registration
Have excellent communication and patient care skills
Be organised, reliable and professional
Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
Be comfortable supporting both clinical and reception functions when required
Be willing to provide occasional additional support for holiday and sickness cover
Have experience working within a dental practice environment
Experience with R4 dental software would be beneficial; training can be provided
