Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Educator to join our team in the Baby Room. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and early childhood education to infants, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with young children and supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and personalised care.

Duties

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, routines, and any concerns to share with parents and colleagues.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
Support children's individual needs, including feeding, nappy changing, and comforting as required.
Organise a clean, organised, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Collaborate with management to implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance childcare skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
Demonstrated management or leadership qualities suitable for supervising or mentoring junior staff or volunteers.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent).
Driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between settings or community engagement activities.
A caring attitude, patience, organisational skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education are essential.

Pay: £12.80-£14.00 per hour
