Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team in London. Based in the heart of the NHS community, this role is essential in leading nursing teams, ensuring excellent patient care, and supporting our mission to put people in places to care. Key Responsibilities

To support the development of a culture that promotes leadership through coaching in accordance with Trust standards and protocols.
To line manage and performance manage team leaders/managers in accordance with Trust standards and protocols.
To line manage and performance manage team to assist in recruiting, motivating, training, developing and retaining appropriate staff enabling them to have the skills, expertise and discretion to function effectively in their roles.
To ensure the effective use of human resources ensuring safe levels of staffing which reflect the necessary and appropriate skill mix.
To ensure that all staff are in receipt of regular appraisal and professional development support, liaising with Heads of profession and training departments as appropriate.
Provide demonstrable assurance that all staff are receiving appraisal and personal development plans that include mandatory training and clinical supervision to enable the workforce to be fit for practice.
To provide demonstrable assurance that service lines comply with all mandatory reporting and assurance frameworks to enable the Trust to achieve compliance.
To ensure the effective use of human resources ensuring safe levels of staffing which reflect the necessary and appropriate skill mix. To ensure that all staff are in receipt of regular appraisal and professional development support, liaising with Heads of profession and training departments, as appropriate.
To establish and maintain effective working relationships and new working arrangements with colleagues, children and young people, parents and other key stakeholders.
To provide and/or contribute to the production of reports, information and proposals that support effective delivery of care and an integrated approach to work with colleagues at local level or through external agencies.
To work with the Service Manager and local senior staff to create and embed a performance culture within the service which continuously reviews service delivery via KPI and targets and drives forward service quality improvements in an innovative and transformative way, optimising technology to do this.
To provide demonstrable assurance that the resources available achieve efficiencies, reduction of waste and improvements in clinical quality.
Provide assessments of children and young people referred to the team based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources.
Formulate and implement plans for the formal treatment and/or management of the employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy, across the full range of care settings.
Be responsible for implementing a range of therapeutic interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups. These will include long and short term interventions as appropriate to need.

Qualifications

Entry-level qualification: appropriately registered Educational/ Clinical/Counselling psychologist
Systemic Family Therapist, Psychotherapist, Nurse, OT, Social Work CBT Therapist and registration with relevant UK governing body and registered qualification with one of the above statutory bodies) with related experience in the psychological aspects of caring for children and adolescent with mental health problems/needs.
Evidence of continuing professional development as required by relevant Professional body e.g. HCPC or ACP or NMC
Knowledge of legislation in relation to the client group and mental health issues, child and adult protection, and equalities.
