Junior Operations Manager – Birmingham City Centre
£30,000 – £32,000 per year | Full Time Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
Limegreen Marketing is looking for a Junior Operations Manager to join our Birmingham team. This is a role built for someone who wants genuine responsibility, not just another job title. You'll be working alongside senior management to help run the business day to day, supporting operational planning, client delivery, team coordination and performance tracking across multiple areas of the company.
This role suits people who are commercially minded, organised and motivated by structure and accountability. If you're looking for a position where you can learn how a business actually operates, build your skillset in a high standards environment and grow into more responsibility over time, this could be the right move.
About Limegreen Marketing and This Role
Limegreen Marketing is a growing Birmingham based business focused on client service delivery, marketing campaigns and operational excellence. We work with clients across the UK and our internal team is expanding to support that growth.
The Junior Operations Manager role has been created to provide support to senior managers across a range of operational and business functions. You won't be sitting in the background. You'll be contributing to meetings, tracking performance, coordinating team activity, supporting client communication and helping solve problems as they arise. It's a role that requires someone reliable, sharp and willing to step up when needed.
Where You Will Make an Impact
You'll be involved in areas including:
- Daily business operations and workflow coordination
- Supporting senior managers with planning and decision making
- Team communication and scheduling
- Client project coordination and delivery tracking
- Performance reporting and data analysis
- Internal systems, processes and documentation
- Staff onboarding and training coordination
- Event preparation, logistics and business travel support
- Supplier and partner communication where relevant
- Problem solving across departments
- Campaign planning and resource allocation support
Your Main Responsibilities
- Assist senior managers with operational planning and business coordination
- Support the smooth running of day to day operations across the company
- Track team performance, client deadlines and project delivery
- Coordinate internal communication between departments and team members
- Attend senior management meetings and contribute where appropriate
- Maintain internal systems, schedules and documentation
- Help prepare reports, presentations and performance updates
- Support client communication and ensure high service standards
- Coordinate preparation for events, business travel and external meetings
- Assist with staff onboarding, training schedules and team support
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to working processes
- Liaise with suppliers, partners or external contacts as required
- Manage administration related to operations, planning and resource allocation
- Respond to urgent or changing business needs with professionalism and flexibility
The Standard We Are Looking For
This role is not for everyone. We're looking for someone who takes work seriously, handles responsibility well and genuinely wants to understand how businesses grow and operate successfully.
You should be confident communicating with senior managers, clients and team members. You need to be organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks without losing track of priorities. We expect you to show initiative, ask questions when needed and take ownership of your work.
You don't need years of experience, but you do need the right attitude. That means being accountable, resilient under pressure, professional in your approach and motivated by performance and progression rather than comfort.
If you prefer low responsibility roles, minimal interaction or passive working environments, this won't suit you. If you want structure, mentoring, exposure to real business operations and the opportunity to earn more responsibility over time, it will.
What You Will Gain
- £32,000 to £35,000 annual salary depending on experience
- Full time permanent employment with long term growth potential
- Birmingham City Centre location with modern office environment
- Monday to Friday working hours, 9am to 6pm with one hour lunch break

- Structured internal training tailored to operations and business management
- One to one coaching and mentoring from senior managers
- Direct exposure to client projects, strategic planning and commercial decision making
- Company pension scheme
- Paid business travel to events, meetings and company activities where required
- Access to professional networking events and industry opportunities
