Full job description

Sentry Aerospares specialises in providing rotable spares support to airlines worldwide with superior customer support, comprehensive stockholding of the most demanded and hard-to-find parts, together with a responsive 24/7 AOG (Aircraft on Ground) service, and a focus on quality.

We are recruiting for a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE to join our team. This role is full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday).

Salary up to £30,000pa with an annual bonus of up to £8,200

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Processing outgoing shipments on a daily basis
Handling and preparing shipments in accordance with Dangerous Goods regulations
Assisting couriers in loading and unloading deliveries
Moving goods around the warehouse area
Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
Ensuring quality compliance in a highly regulated industry
Inspecting inbound and outbound packaging to ensure quality and integrity
Maintaining routine procedures
Ensuring all quality practices and paperwork are completed
Using heavy lifting machinery

WHAT ABILITIES DO I NEED?

Work under pressure
Highly organised and able to manage time efficiently
Experience handling Dangerous Goods shipments (IATA preferred)
Experience working with Counterbalance & Articulating Forklifts
Experience working within a Warehouse environment
Experience with high value, heavy duty components
Attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
Good communication skills
Computer literate
Proactively prevent problems
