About The Role

Service Technician

Marshall BYD Northampton
£33,684 basic | £39,500 OTE based on time saved and team profit; 25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays (increases with service); Life assurance & pension scheme; Discounts on car servicing, purchase & more; Access to exclusive shopping and lifestyle perks.
Full-time | 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime on Saturday's.

At Marshall BYD Northampton, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. Whether you’re already an expert or developing your craft, we’ll support your growth with state-of-the-art facilities, a friendly team and manufacturer training that keeps you on top of your game.

In this role:

You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
Someone with a MOT Licence.
Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
