This is a very small, friendly, and helpful industry. Being such a small industry, everyone has an opportunity to stand out. Chris Kennett Consulting Limited have run an Apprenticeship before and have been awarded “Apprentice Employer of the Year” in our category for 2025/26, by the college administering our previous Apprenticeship programme.

Throughout this process you will be learning how to work on site safely and will be expected to demonstrate this at all times. This work will involve travel, mostly within the east of England but occasionally further.
You will normally work a 40 hour week, however the hours each day will be flexible and depend on our client’s needs. The job will be split between office, college and on-site during the first three years, but after that there will opportunities to work differently. The outdoor work is not typically strenuous but involves prolonged periods of standing and walking, including over rough ground. Indoor work can involve extended periods working at a computer. You will be expected to travel independently to college, and as you progress, travel to site.
