Ogbourne Downs Golf Club is a vibrant members' golf club situated between two scenic locations. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional golf experiences and welcoming food services for all our members and visitors.

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the club by managing administrative tasks, coordinating communications, and ensuring smooth office functions. Your proactive approach and organisational skills will help create a welcoming environment for members and staff alike.

Responsibilities

Manage office correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail, with professional phone etiquette
Maintain organised records through data entry and filing systems
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and event planning activities
Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Handle invoicing and financial record keeping using Xero
Support inventory management and supply ordering processes
Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and maintaining office supplies

Qualifications

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with data entry and clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software is a plus
Strong typing skills to ensure accurate documentation
Previous administrative experience preferred but not required

Pay: From £16,000.00 per year
