Full job description

We are recruiting for an experienced DV Cleared Plumber / Pipefitter to join our client on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will work across a range of commercial and industrial fit-out and refurbishment projects, in addition to supporting our client's prestigious nuclear and defence contract at AWE Plc, Reading.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber/pipefitter holding active Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance to secure a long-term position with excellent earning potential, career progression and the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most secure and high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out domestic plumbing works within secure industrial and commercial environments.
Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and associated pipework.
Complete first and second fix plumbing installations.
Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults efficiently.
Ensure all work complies with current regulations, site procedures and health & safety requirements.
Adhere to all security protocols and site procedures.
Deliver work to a consistently high standard with minimal supervision.

Essential Requirements:

Active DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance (essential)
Level 2 Plumbing Qualification (or equivalent)
Valid CSCS Card
Full UK Driving Licence
Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter

Desirable:

Previous experience working at AWE, MOD or other high-security government facilities.
Experience within commercial, industrial or secure environments.
