Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety, and leading a team of staff to achieve operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality, culinary arts, and team leadership to contribute to a vibrant and customer-focused environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including chefs, servers, and baristas, ensuring smooth operational flow
Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently
Manage food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations
Ensure excellent customer service by supporting staff in serving guests and resolving any issues promptly
Implement training programmes to enhance team skills in food safety, hygiene, and customer care
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock control effectively
Enforce compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company policies
Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak times while maintaining labour costs
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and professional development

Skills

Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, with strong supervising capabilities
Extensive knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in food preparation, serving, and culinary operations
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike
Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and customer service excellence principles
Previous experience working in restaurant environments or similar culinary settings is highly desirable
Barista experience is advantageous but not essential; however, familiarity with beverage preparation is beneficial

This role is ideal for proactive individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering outstanding dining experiences. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality service while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests.

Pay: £24,420.00-£74,455.98 per year
