Overview

Join our dynamic online education team as a Sixth Form Tutor specializing in Maths, Science, and English! This exciting role offers the opportunity to inspire and support students through engaging virtual lessons, helping them achieve their academic goals. As an Online Sixth Form Tutor, you will deliver high-quality instruction tailored to individual learning needs, fostering a positive and motivating environment for learners preparing for their future careers or higher education. This paid position is perfect for passionate educators eager to make a meaningful impact in a flexible, digital setting.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons in Maths, Science, and English to Sixth Form students, ensuring clarity and understanding of complex concepts
Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and academic levels
Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, and feedback sessions to monitor improvement and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Provide clear explanations of subject material, supporting students with additional resources or guidance as needed
Maintain open communication with students and parents/guardians to update on progress and address concerns promptly
Create a positive virtual classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, and motivation
Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements for reporting purposes

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths, Science, or English at the secondary education level or higher
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children or young adults in an educational setting
Experience working with students who have special educational needs or require tailored learning approaches is highly desirable
Strong communication skills to explain concepts clearly and foster positive relationships with students and parents
Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools for remote instruction is preferred
Passionate about education with a proactive approach to supporting student success
Must have GCSE's and A-Levels in Mathematics, Science's and English
