Job Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Door Supervisor, where your energetic presence and vigilant eye will ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining order at entry points, monitoring premises through surveillance systems, and preventing loss or unauthorized access. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a positive experience while upholding safety standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your security expertise in a lively, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Greet and manage access for all visitors, staff, contractors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy
Conduct thorough checks to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry
Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential security threats
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with emergency services when necessary
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and taking appropriate action
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and access records for accountability and reporting purposes
Provide first aid assistance when needed to ensure immediate care for minor injuries or health issues

Skills

Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and reduce shrinkage
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with diverse individuals and handle challenging situations calmly
Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts in a fast-paced environment
Basic first aid certification to provide immediate assistance in emergencies
Familiarity with security procedures and protocols to enforce safety policies consistently
