Job Summary

Join Vivoluxe Home Support as a founding Home & Family Support Companion. We reject the rushed, "box-ticking" corporate care model. We focus deeply on human connection, premium lifestyle management, and emotional well-being, helping local families live beautifully and well at home. This position offers flexible part-time hours to accommodate your lifestyle while delivering meaningful, non-medical companionship and household organisation.

Please note: this is a strictly non-medical, non-regulated companion and lifestyle service. This role does NOT involve personal hygiene care, bathing, dressing, hoisting, manual handling, or medication administration — and does not involve hands-on care of infants.

Duties

Companionship & Befriending: Providing unhurried emotional support, meaningful conversation, and accompanied community outings or social visits.
Home Support & Senior Life Admin: Assisting clients with managing incoming physical mail, organising household files, and setting up automated online utility or grocery systems.
Postnatal Sanctuary Support: Supporting new mothers by keeping the home calm, organised, and running smoothly so they can rest and recover — including light household tasks, batch cooking healthy family meals, and nursery tidying.
Family Respite: Providing temporary "sitting" and companion support to give family carers an absolute, well-deserved break.
Hospital-to-Home Recovery: Delivering non-medical settling-in support following hospital discharge (stocking the fridge with groceries, preparing a warm meal, and home safety checks).
Integrated Housekeeping: Handling light household duties such as laundry management, ironing, changing bed linens, and light kitchen tidying as part of a holistic well-being visit.

Experience

Absolute empathy, patience, and exceptional communication skills are essential.
Prior experience in childcare, eldercare, customer service, or community volunteering is highly desirable — but not required. Full training and induction is provided.
A full, clean UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, but not essential if you live within walking distance or a short journey of Derby, Allestree, Mickleover, Littleover...
Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS background check (fully funded by the company).
Must have valid, verifiable Right to Work in the UK.
Must be able to provide two satisfactory professional references (including your most recent employer) to verify your reliability and character.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: £13.50–£14.50 per hour
Paid Travel Support: 30p per mile allowance for journeys made while transporting a client (e.g., to appointments or shopping).
