Join our therapeutic children's care team where every child receives consistent, professional support in their journey to recovery.

Children's Residential Support Worker – Preston

£13.50- £14.00 per hour + paid sleep-ins & bonuses

Full-time | Permanent

3-bed Therapeutic Home | Stable Core Team | No Agency Staff

At Embrace Care, we deliver structured, therapeutic residential care for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

We operate differently to high-turnover, agency-reliant services.

Homes rated Good by Ofsted
Dedicated Therapeutic Lead embedded in service
Experienced, visible Registered Managers

We prioritise routine, consistency and professional boundaries.

Progress comes from structure not crisis management.

The Role

You will join a consistent core team within a small 3-bed home.

Your responsibilities include:

Delivering structured daily routines
Supporting education attendance and independence
Managing behaviours using agreed therapeutic strategies
Maintaining professional boundaries
Completing accurate, high-quality documentation
Working closely with leadership and therapeutic support

This role requires emotional regulation, accountability and confidence in managing complex behaviours safely.

It is hands-on, structured and professionally led.

Pay & Recognition

£13.50 - £14.00 per hour
Paid sleep-ins
Up to £750 Ofsted Bonus

Loyalty Bonus

We reward long-term stability:

£1,000 in Year 2
£1,500 in Year 3
Increasing annually thereafter
Up to £10,000 paid over 10 years

Overtime Recognition

Additional commitment is recognised through enhanced overtime rewards and bonus payments

Requirements

We are ideally seeking candidates with experience in children's residential care, youth work or a related environment.

You will bring:

Emotional resilience
A calm and consistent approach
Confidence managing behaviours safely
Professional integrity
A long-term mindset
A full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)

We are selective because our young people deserve experienced, stable adults around them.
