Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Sewing Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines to produce high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous experience in sewing or warehouse operations. The successful applicant will contribute to maintaining our standards of craftsmanship and efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of products to our clients.

Responsibilities

Operate various types of industrial sewing machines with precision and consistency
Follow detailed work instructions and specifications to ensure product quality
Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments or rework as required
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Assist in packaging completed items according to company standards
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervisors

Experience

Previous experience in sewing or textile manufacturing is preferred
Warehouse experience is considered advantageous but not essential
Familiarity with different types of sewing machines and techniques is desirable
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
