Main Purpose of Role
We are seeking an ambitious, commercially focused and results-driven International Sales Manager to drive profitable growth across our international markets for our range of heating and ventilation solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing international sales strategies, building strategic distributor partnerships, accelerating new product launches, expanding market coverage and increasing market share across designated territories.

Working closely with Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, the role will ensure the successful delivery of commercial plans that achieve sustainable revenue and profitability growth.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical understanding and exceptional relationship management skills to support distributors, consultants, contractors and end users across the HVAC and building services sectors.

Key Accountabilities

Sales and Business Development

Develop and execute international sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Identify and secure new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors, consultants, contractors, OEMs and end-user customers.
Deliver profitable sales growth across assigned territories through effective commercial planning.
Develop annual customer business plans and territory growth strategies.
Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures and distribution contracts.
Drive category expansion and maximise cross-selling opportunities across the product portfolio.

Strategic Distributor Development

Develop long-term partnerships with key distributors focused on sustainable growth.
Create annual joint business plans with strategic distributor partners.
Identify opportunities to increase market penetration, market share and product adoption.
Challenge and support distributors to achieve ambitious sales and profitability objectives.
Support distributors with product launches, commercial training, marketing activation and sales development initiatives.
Build strong relationships with distributor owners and senior management teams.

Account Management

Manage and support an established network of international distributors and sales partners.
Conduct regular customer visits and strategic business reviews.
Maintain strong customer relationships to maximise retention and repeat business.
Identify opportunities to increase product adoption and sales within existing accounts.
Provide timely responses to customer enquiries, quotations and technical requests.
Market Analysis and Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes and industry developments.
Identify opportunities for new products, new markets and strategic growth initiatives.
Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence and commercial performance updates.
Support strategic planning activities and annual budgeting processes.
Recommend commercial actions that improve profitability, market share and long-term growth.

Product and Technical Support

Develop a strong knowledge of the company's heating and ventilation product portfolio.
Work closely with Engineering, Product Management and Marketing teams to understand customer requirements and successfully launch new products.
Deliver product presentations, technical training and commercial proposals.
Assist customers in specifying products and solutions for projects.
Support successful product launches across international markets through customer engagement and commercial activation.

Cross Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver commercial plans.
Support demand planning through accurate forecasting and market intelligence.
Ensure commercial opportunities are effectively translated into successful operational execution.
Share market feedback to influence future product development and business strategy.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience - Essential Criteria

Relevant experience in international sales within a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of delivering profitable export sales growth and developing distributor networks.
Experience within the heating, ventilation, HVAC, air movement, building services or related industries.
Strong commercial negotiation and business development skills.
Demonstrable experience developing strategic customer relationships and business plans.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Experience managing multiple international territories.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to undertake regular international travel
Full and valid Driving Licence.
Satisfactory DBS.
