Care Supervisor & Trainer - Guardian Angel Carers Mid Sussex

£27,000 - £29,600 per annum (depending on experience) + additional on-call payments

About the Role: This is a varied and rewarding position that combines client assessments, team development, training delivery, quality assurance, and office-based administration.

You will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional care while supporting our CareAngels to thrive in their roles.

Working 37.5 hours per week, you will also participate in our out-of-hours on-call rota and provide care support when required to ensure our clients always receive the highest standard of service.

Your Responsibilities - As our Care Supervisor & Trainer, you will:

Complete detailed client assessments and create personalised care plans
Manage onboarding paperwork, contracts, consent forms, and care documentation
Conduct client reviews to ensure care remains safe, effective, and responsive
Support capacity planning and work closely with the Care Coordinator and Registered Manager
Investigate and resolve concerns or complaints with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-focused approach
Deliver engaging face-to-face training and support ongoing learning and development
Carry out supervisions, competency assessments, observations, and mentoring sessions
Support shadowing and induction of new Care Assistants and Support Workers
Complete audits and quality assurance checks to maintain our high standards
Promote a positive culture where people feel valued, supported, and motivated
Be a Team Leader and lead by example, championing our values of compassion, professionalism, reliability, and excellence

Essential Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence and business use insurance
Minimum of 2 years' hands-on care experience
Minimum of 1 year in a senior care or office-based care role
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Care Certificate
Experience using care management software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning, time management, and organisational skills
