Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working alongside our ATEX and Electrical Services Teams, predominately within the water industry, but also in the Energy and Manufacturing industries.

MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, all in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition and BS60079, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

You’ll be working alongside our established team of experts, which means you will receive a wide range of industry help and support.

What you’ll bring

Do you have previous experience of ATEX zones and hazardous areas?
Have you got proven working knowledge of a wide range of Ex protection concepts, including but not limited to: Ex d – flameproof, Ex E - Increased Safety and Ex I- Intrinsic Safety?
Do you have CompEx Ex01 & Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)?
Have you completed an NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation),18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs and City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing?
Do you have industrial experience?
Preferably, you’ll also have CompEx Ex05 – Ex06 (Dust), PASMA, IPAFIOSH and CCNSG
