Your Role

King Offa Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join its friendly, caring nursery team.

This is a full-time, term-time only role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm).

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery.

you hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
you have experience working in an early years setting
you are able to plan and deliver engaging, child-led learning experiences
you have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
you are enthusiastic, organised and committed to working collaboratively as part of a team

A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualificationessential

Demonstrable understanding of children's developmentessential

Demonstrable understanding of the Early Year's Foundation Stage essential

Leadership

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding. Willingness to complete a Designated Safeguarding Lead course & to act as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead across the Nursery setting essential

Personal Attributes

Display a commitment to, and an ability to contribute to, the protection and safeguarding of children and young peopleessential
