Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Admin/Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support financial operations within a dynamic organisation, ensuring accurate data entry, processing of sales invoices, and utilisation of various software. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the wider administrative functions of the company.

Responsibilities

Assist with processing invoices
Maintain organised records of financial transactions and documentation
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across multiple platforms including Xero, Sage, and other relevant systems
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of payments and compliance with organisational policies
Support general administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and scheduling related to finance and administrative operations

Skills

Experience with Xero would be advantagous but not essential as training will be given
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and financial services operations
Proficiency in using Excel or other spreadsheet programmes for data analysis and reporting
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across teams effectively

This position is ideal for candidates seeking a professional environment where they can develop their skills in finance administration while contributing to organisational efficiency.

Pay: Up to £27,000.00 per year
