Full job description

Overview
Contessa Hotels are recruiting for a Night Housekeeper to join our luxury boutique hotel group, based at the fabulous Hillbark Hotel in Royden Park.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and have a passion for providing exceptional service.

Shift time - 10pm - 7:30am - 5 nights a week

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
Laundry of towels and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a spotless environment.
Restock supplies in common areas as needed.
Basic set up of events for the following morning
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
